I am based in Scotland, UK and have worked as a professional newborn and baby photographer since 2015 and during this time have developed high end skills and a passion for newborn and baby photo retouching. I fully appreciate the challenges that can arise from working in this genre of photography, from the lengthy and physically challenging days in the studio to the editing pile at the end, and often whilst trying to juggle the work/life/family balance. By outsourcing your editing you can free up your time to increase your shooting time in the studio, spend more time with your family or probably the most important thing, to give yourself a little more time off to relax (remember we can't pour from an empty cup).
All editing is completed in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop using professional computer equipment, including a fully calibrated BenQ monitor and Wacom Intuos Pro tablet.
I pride myself on my attention to detail and achieving the best print quality images possible. The photo editing can be carried out in my own clean and light style or I am happy to match your editing style in order to keep continuity as per your clients expectations of your work.
All editing is carried out with privacy and confidentiality in mind, I will never share your images unless there is your written consent to do so.

My services include but are not limited to editing newborn, baby, cake smash, Christmas mini shoots and family images both in the studio or outdoor images. I can edit a sample image for you before you book my services. Please note this image will be sent back watermarked and should not be used for resale onto your client.

Simple Fix
* removal of low/moderate skin blemishes and flakes
* basic skin tone and texture corrections - removal of redness, jaundice etc
* simple backdrop fixes/extensions and removal of unwanted items
*colour and white balance correction where needed
*puppet warping and liquify if needed
£1.50 per image

A Touch of Complexity
​
* removal of severe blemishes - baby acne, extensive skin flaking etc, severe baby jaundice etc
* complicated back drop fixes
* colour changing backdrops
* head swaps
* composite images (froggy pose etc)
£3.00 per image

When you send your gallery of raw images over to be edited Dee will assess each image for it's level of difficulty to edit - an invoice will then be sent to you, if you are happy with the quotation then your images will then be edited upon receipt of full payment.

There is no minimum spend and the turnaround time for editing is currently 5 working days. If you need a gallery exceeding 5 images edited at short notice then there is an additional charge of £10 per gallery subject to availability. This editing services is available on a regular or ad hoc basis to suit your needs.
